Mobile press office – Oppo is all set to launch its new phone. We are talking about Oppo Find X8. A report published a few days ago claimed that the phone was spotted on Indian certification platform BIS, which confirms that the phone would be launched in India as well. Now, live images of the phone have been leaked ahead of the launch. Images shared by user X show a narrow-bezel display on the front of the phone and a round camera module on the back. White antenna lines are visible on the phone’s frame in one of the images, confirming that it is of metal construction. Apart from this, a new color option has also appeared. In the previous leak, the phone was seen in bluish silver and black variants, while the new image also revealed a white color option for the phone.
Oppo Find X8 Basic Specifications
A user listed the phone’s full specifications on Chinese social media site Weibo. The leak suggests that the upcoming phone will feature a 6.5-inch BOE display with 1.5K resolution and equally sized ultra-narrow bezels. It will also have an optical fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen for added security. According to the leak, the phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and has a 5,700 mAh battery. It will also support 80W charging and 50W magnetic wireless charging.
Camera with Sony 50MP lens in the phone
Speaking of cameras, the leak indicates that the phone will have a triple camera setup, which will have a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens, although it won’t support macro. The phone will run Android 15 with ColorOS 15 and will also have customizable virtual pressure-sensitive buttons and an alert slider. Coming to the build quality, the Oppo Find X8 will have a metal frame and glass back and it will also come with an IP68/69 rating for water and dust resistance. The thickness of the phone is said to be 7mm and its weight is 190 grams.
Launch date and color options
The phone is said to come in four color options: black, blue, white, and a new pink shade. The leak also suggests that its likely launch date is October 21.
