Mobile press office – Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to launch in China on November 4. The company also confirmed that it will also launch in India in November, where it will be the first phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Ahead of the launch, a lot of information about the upcoming phone has been revealed. Now, Xu Qi Chase, Vice President of Realme and President of Realme Global Marketing, has given information about the periscope telephoto camera of Realme GT 7 Pro. Apart from this, Realme has shared a few camera samples to show off the phone’s camera capabilities, which also includes underwater photography.
Realme GT 7 Pro will take photos even underwater
Xu Qi Chase revealed that the Realme GT 7 Pro features an innovative ship-like multi-reflection structure, which significantly reduces the thickness of the periscope mechanism. The telephoto capabilities have been further improved, with the original focal length increased from 65mm to 73mm. Combined with the new AI super-resolution telephoto algorithm, this delivers stunning performance. Reportedly, the GT 7 Pro will feature a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. The brand has confirmed that the camera will support 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and 120x digital zoom. Additionally, the GT 7 Pro will support underwater photography mode as it is an IP68/IP69 water-resistant device. Below are some samples of underwater photography captured with the GT 7 Pro. As per reports, the rear camera setup of the Realme GT 7 Pro will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony IMX906 lens with OIS. The main camera will also feature an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.
Other key features of the Realme GT 7 Pro include its bespoke Samsung OLED panel, which is said to consume less power. The panel will feature Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. It will also have an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Its 6.78-inch display will support 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 6,000 nits peak brightness. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and has a 6,500mAh battery with silicon-carbon anode technology that supports 120W fast charging. The phone will ship with Android 15 based on Realme UI 6.0.
Realme GT 7 Pro AI Features
Announcing its AI strategy at The Dark Horse of AI launch event, Realme offered a glimpse of the Realme GT 7 Pro’s AI features. The brand claims that the new handset featuring Realme’s UI 6.0 interface will offer a dynamic and better experience, equipped with AI integration and smooth design. The Realme GT 7 Pro will have an AI Sketch to Image feature that will turn simple sketches into detailed photos. AI Motion Disabler technology and AI Telephoto Ultra Clarity will improve photo clarity. For gaming, the phone will get an AI Game Super Resolution feature to enhance in-game visuals up to 1.5K resolution. Realme claims that this will provide a better immersive and responsive gaming experience while playing titles like PUBG and Genshin Impact.
Realme GT 7 Pro color options
Realme has revealed the design and color options of the Realme GT 7 Pro in China via Chinese social media site Weibo. The company has confirmed that the phone will be available in Mars Exploration Edition, Star Trail Titanium, and Light Domain White hues.
