Mobile press office – Xiaomi is going to launch its affordable Redmi A4 5G in India on November 20, i.e. tomorrow. It will have the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip. Recently, Xiaomi also teased the Redmi Note 14 series for India, which shows that the company can launch it in the market soon.
Redmi Note 14 series will launch soon
Xiaomi officially confirmed earlier this month that the Redmi 14 series will launch in December. This means that this series will launch around a month before the Redmi Note 13 lineup that entered in January this year. The company did not reveal the name in the released teaser, but the text written on it indicates that the brand has started working on the next generation of Note series smartphones in the country.
It is planned to launch three models
The Redmi Note 14 series is expected to launch three models, namely Note 14, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro+. Let us tell you that this series has already entered the Chinese market.
Expected specifications
According to the information revealed in September, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus will have a 200 MP Samsung S5KHP3 main camera, an 8 MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50 MP telephoto lens. Presumably, the Note 14 Pro will also have the same primary and ultra-wide cameras. But instead of a telephoto lens, it could have a 2 MP macro camera.
Characteristics of the Chinese variant
In China, the Note 14 Pro has a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera, while the Note 14 Pro+ has a 50 MP OmniVision OVX8000. The Note 14 series is expected to hit global markets with Android 14 and HyperOS 2.0.
Screen, processor and battery
The Note 14 Pro and 14 Pro+ are expected to feature a 6.67-inch curved-edge OLED panel supporting 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Note 14 Pro may have the Dimensity 7300 Ultra, while that the Pro+ may have the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. Both devices are expected to offer water and dust resistance up to IP69. In China, the Note 14 Pro has a 5,500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging, while the Note 14 Pro+ has a larger 6,200 mAh battery with 90W charging.
