Mobile press office – Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi may launch Redmi K80 and K80 Pro smartphones in November. These are believed to come with powerful features and may be launched as Poco smartphones in markets outside China. The camera specifications of the Redmi K80 have been mentioned in a leaked report. It is claimed that both Redmi smartphones will have 3 rear cameras. The main sensor will be 50 MP.
The leaked report claims that the standard version of this series will have a telephoto lens. The Pro version is expected to feature a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom. Both phones will get an IP69 rating, which suggests they can protect against dust and water. Earlier reports indicated that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor could come to the Redmi K80 series. The K80 Pro is now said to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. This chipset is yet to be launched. The processor is expected to launch in October. After that, it can be integrated into new Redmi models.
At the same time, tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed that Qualcomm’s new flagship processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, will be more expensive than the chipset launched last year. If this happens, the price of most smartphones launched with this chipset could be slightly higher. If previous reports are to be believed, the Redmi K80 series could have a 6.67-inch 2K display, which comes with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Redmi K80 Pro is said to have a battery of 6,500mAh. Most of the information related to the Redmi K80 series is not official yet. The company may reveal some features in the coming days.
