Mobile press office – Chinese smartphone company Motorola introduced a rollable smartphone at the Mobile World Conference 2023 (MWC 2023). Moto has now filed a patent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. According to the patent, Moto will integrate an integrated fingerprint sensor into its smartphone. In fact, these smartphones will have a full-screen fingerprint sensor. This means that wherever you touch the phone, this smartphone will be unlocked.
Touching anywhere will unlock
The patent, filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, is titled “Handling persistent fingerprint on-display (FOD) on a rollable device with multiple FOD sensors.” The model number of this smartphone is 12135587B1. If you touch this smartphone anywhere, it will unlock. Until now, all smartphones have a fingerprint sensor at a specific place, this way the display of the smartphone can change from five inches to 6.5 inches by double-clicking.
This smartphone will also be user-friendly. If the screen does not expand, there will be a cover on the back, which can be used as a screen cover. However, no official information has come from Moto at the moment. Additionally, it has not been revealed when the new smartphone will be launched by Moto.
