The company launches its new iPhone series every year in the month of September. This year i.e. 2024, Apple launched its latest iPhone 16 series. Under this series, the company launched four iPhones namely iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus , iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These four iPhones have also been launched in India and now iPhone lovers have started waiting for the next iPhone series i.e. iPhone 17 series. 1. New design
The iPhone 17 Pro could see a return to the aluminum frame, which was previously replaced by the titanium frame used in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro. A mix of glass and aluminum is seen on the rear panel of the phone. Reportedly, the camera bump will be larger and made of aluminum, making it different from the previous model.
2. A19 Pro Chip
The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to feature Apple’s new A19 Pro chip, which will be based on TSMC’s 3nm technology. This will improve performance and energy efficiency. Along with this, the Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip is also visible.
3. Better RAM and Storage
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max can be equipped with 12 GB of RAM, which is more than the 8 GB of RAM in the iPhone 16 Pro. This upgrade was made to support multitasking and Apple’s AI-based features.
4. Camera Improvements
A big camera upgrade is seen in the iPhone 17 series. The front camera can be increased from 12MP to 24MP and the telephoto camera can be upgraded to 48MP in the Pro model. This will make the photography experience even better.
5. Dynamic New Island
A small dynamic island can be provided in the Pro Max model, which will improve the screen-to-body ratio. This change could be possible using the Meta Lens of the Face ID system. However, all these features are based on rumors and we will have to wait for Apple’s official announcement. There is speculation that the iPhone 17 Pro will launch in 2025. In the meantime, take these rumors with a “pinch of salt”.
