Mobile press office – Affordable smartphone maker Tecno is gearing up to launch a new phone in India. The company has confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Tecno POP 9 4G. It is touted as the successor to Pop 8. Tecno has many cheap phones in the Pop range and the company also offers this one at a lower price.

A dedicated microsite has been put online on Amazon for this smartphone. Where the company has confirmed most of its specifications. The affordable phone will be launched in India on November 22. After the launch, customers will be able to purchase it on Amazon. Amazon also indicated that the phone will be priced under Rs 10,000. It has been teased on Amazon with a price tag of Rs. 9,999. Let us tell you that the previous Pop 8 4G was launched for Rs 6,499.

Design
Tecno Pop 9 will have a dynamic punch hole cutout located in the center. There will be a SIM tray on the left side. There will be a power button and volume rocker on the right side. There will be a square camera module with LED flash on the rear panel. A USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack will also be available. Techno Pop 9 will be launched in Glittery White, Lime Green and Startrail color options.

ChipsetThe upcoming phone will feature MediaTek Dimensity Helio G50 processor for more performance. This is an entry-level chipset designed to handle small tasks. On Amazon, the company announced that it would get three years of lag-free performance.

Memory – It will have 64 GB of internal storage with 6 GB of RAM. Which can be expanded up to 1TB.

Battery- The phone will come with a 5,000mAh battery that will provide 840 hours of standby time. This battery will be capable of providing 32 hours of talk time and 9.5 hours of video playback. Camera – It will have a 13 MP rear camera. While the previous Pop 8 was launched with a 12MP camera. The IP54 rating will be assigned to protect the phone from water and dust. It will feature DTS audio, dual stereo speakers, and an IR remote control. Techno had also launched the 5G variant of this phone last month.
