Technical News Office,Indian Railways is fast becoming high-tech, first Vande Bharat Express and now railways is going to launch Super App. With the help of this app, different services of railways will be available for passengers on a single platform. Until now, apps like IRCTC were required for train ticket booking, IRCTC Catering for food and Rail Madad for feedback or support, but when has this happened. Railways super app is launched, along with these services many other services will also be available using this app.
What will the super app be like?
So far, IRCTC app help is used to book tickets online and National Train Inquiry System app help is to be used to track the train. Whereas to file a complaint, one has to dial the number 139. In such a situation, all these services will start being available at one place through the Railway Super App.
Quoting an official from CRIS, the organization that developed the super app for railways, the ET report said that through the super app for railways, platform tickets, train timetables and many other services will be available in one place. According to reports, the merger work of CRIS and IRCTC is currently underway. Let us tell you that CRIS provides technical support to Indian Railways.
What is the current arrangement?
Currently, rail travelers have to use different apps and websites. Like IRCTC for tickets, IRCTC eCatering for catering, Rail Madad for feedback or assistance, UTS for walk-in tickets and NTES for train tracking.
