In a leak, key specifications of the upcoming Vivo phone have been mentioned along with the launch timeline. Tipster Smart Pikachu on Chinese social media platform Weibo said that the Vivo S20 could launch by the end of this month. It is expected to compete with the Oppo Reno 13 series, which will arrive this month.
Coming to the specifications, the Vivo S20 may come with a 6,500mAh battery in a slim design. The phone will have an OLED display with 1.5K resolution. It is expected to have a dual camera setup. The second smartphone in the series will be the Vivo S20 Pro. It is rumored to feature a curved-edge display with a triple rear camera system and the cameras will include a telephoto lens, allowing the Pro model to take zoom photos. It is estimated that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor can be found in the Vivo S20, while MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 chipset can be provided in the S20 Pro model. A Vivo device with model number V2429A has been spotted on TENAA and 3C certification sites. This would be the Vivo S20 smartphone.
If this happens, the phone will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, which comes with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. The phone will have up to 16GB of RAM and the storage will be 1TB. It may come with a 6,500mAh battery with 90-watt charging. There may be a 50-megapixel main rear camera, along with which there will be another 8-megapixel lens. The front camera is expected to measure 50 megapixels. Many other features like in-display fingerprint sensor and IR blaster can be provided in it.
