Mobile press office – Xiaomi has confirmed the launch date of its flagship Xiaomi 15 series. It will be launched in the Chinese market on October 29. The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro models will be launched there. These come with many major improvements over the previous series. After launching the flagship phones in China, they will also be launched in India and global markets.

Launch and expected price
The Xiaomi 15 is said to enter India at a higher price than its previous model. Compared to the Xiaomi 14 series, its price could increase by Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000. Xiaomi 14 was launched in India for Rs 69,999, which means the price of Xiaomi 15 could be between Rs 75,000 and Rs 80,000. The company could follow the previous model to launch in India. The Xiaomi 15 series will be launched here in March 2025. Immediately after its launch in China, its entry into India seems difficult.

Design and display
Xiaomi’s Global Vice President shared a few photos of the Xiaomi 15. Which suggests that it could have a similar display to the Xiaomi 14 which will have a square camera module, a flat display and thin bezels. It has been confirmed that the new powder blue color will be launched. The Xiaomi 15 is expected to feature a 6.36-inch flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, with LTPO technology for better power consumption. At the same time, the Xiaomi 15 Pro may feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and DCI-wide color gamut. Xiaomi 15 Pro will have a 50MP Light Fusion 900 series main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and macro capability, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor.
