Technical News Office – Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its new Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro tablets in the global market after launching them in China on October 29. Recently, both tablets were spotted on US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification, hinting at a global launch soon. According to the FCC listing, the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro are expected to feature advanced wireless networking capabilities. The Pad 7 will support Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), while the Pad 7 Pro will feature the more advanced Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be). Additionally, both tablets will run on Xiaomi’s custom HyperOS 2.0 which offers a customizable user interface. The certification also revealed the storage configuration of the two tablets. The Xiaomi Pad 7 will be available in three variants: 8GB RAM/128GB, 8GB RAM/256GB, and 12GB RAM/512GB storage. The Pad 7 Pro will be available in more options, with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro feature 11.2-inch IPS LCD displays with a resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels, 144Hz refresh rate, HDR 10, and Dolby Vision support. Talking about dimensions, the length of the tablet is 251.2 mm, width is 173.4 mm, thickness is 6.2 mm, and weight is 500 grams. The Pad 7 features a Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor. The Pad 7 Pro features a more powerful Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 processor, which provides better performance for demanding tasks like gaming and multitasking.

Coming to the camera setup, the Pad 7 has a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. At the same time, the Pad 7 Pro has a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera. At the same time, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Both tablets feature an 8,850mAh battery, with the Pad 7 having a 45W fast charging speed and the Pad 7 Pro having a 67W charging speed.
