Mobile press office – Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi 15 series phones in China tomorrow (Tuesday) as the company’s next flagship series. As part of this series, the company will introduce two phones which will include two models – Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. It has been confirmed that the smartphone range will be the world’s first handset to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Ahead of this phone’s launch, a company official confirmed many features of both phones, including the Xiaomi 15 Pro with a 5X telephoto lens, 12GB of RAM, and a 6,100mAh battery.
Xiaomi 15 series specifications confirmed
In several posts on Chinese social media platform Weibo, Xiaomi said that the Xiaomi 15 Pro phone will be equipped with a 6,100 mAh battery. Let us tell you that the Xiaomi 14 Pro has 4,880 mAh. Along with this, the handset will be equipped with a 2K micro-curved display, featuring 1.38mm bezels and 3,200 nits brightness. The Xiaomi 15 Pro model will benefit from a 5X periscope camera. The teaser shows that the cameras on both phones will be Leica branded.
Xiaomi will launch 16 new products with the phone tomorrow
Both Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset featuring the company’s HyperCore technology. Along with this, Xiaomi CEO Lei confirmed that in addition to the Xiaomi 15 series, the company will launch 16 additional new products, including the Xiaomi Pad 7 series, Watch S4 and Band 9 Pro, scooter high-end electric Xiaomi, the smart door lock, Will include Wi-Fi 7 routers.
