Technical News Office – WhatsApp is one of the most popular instant messaging platforms today. This platform allows users to send text messages, video calls, audio calls, audio messages, photos, videos and documents. Everyone knows that sending voice messages is much easier than typing them. At the same time, for some people, listening can be more difficult than reading. Today, WhatsApp has officially introduced a new feature through which the problem of listening to voice messages is to be solved. Let us know about this new WhatsApp feature.
According to the WhatsApp blog, the new feature of WhatsApp is voice message transcription. WhatsApp says voice messages can be transcribed to text. So no matter what you do, it will help you continue your conversation. One thing to note is that the transcriptions are generated on your device, so no one, including WhatsApp, can listen or read your personal messages.
WhatsApp currently supports transcriptions in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian on Android. On iOS 16, WhatsApp supports transcriptions in French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Chinese and Arabic. On iOS 17 or later, it supports Danish, Finnish, Hebrew, Malay, Norwegian, Dutch, Swedish, and Thai. This new WhatsApp feature will be rolled out globally in the coming weeks, with more new languages added in the future.
